"Lessons and Training "

I offer quality English lessons, on lesson horses or your own. I strive to teach solid basics, with an emphasis on fun. I believe a good foundation can safely take you far, whether you want to show or trail ride-or both! Many students show at various levels, from schooling shows to A circuit. Cross training is also an exciting part of the program, and students enjoy doing a little of everything-dressage, hunter/jumper, cross country, trail riding, and more! My goal is to create effective riders who truly love the sport and the horse.  Training is available, from ground work with babies to fine-tuning your show or sales horse, and everything in between! Many package options are available, depending on what you want, and what your horse needs.

My goal here is to create a relaxed, confident horse who is happy in their job, and therefore enjoyable to ride!

"Meet Our Lesson Horses!"

Veronica

This wonderful mare is our most reliable beginner horse. She is a 26 yr old Standardbred cross. She has patiently taught many young students the basics, and is definitely a barn favourite! When Veri has decided she no longer wants to teach our kids, she will be retired here on the farm.

Cindee

Cindee is a 21 yr old Morgan mare. She has been in the barn for awhile, showing in the 2'6 jumpers with her last owner. When it became time for her to slow down, we moved her into the lesson program, where she is thriving! A wonderful, patient teacher

Rosie

Rosie

Our wonderful beginner pony, she's 13.2hh, and approximately 20 yrs old. Slow and steady, she's perfect for the young kids to learn and build confidence on

Quinn

Quinn

16 yr old TB gelding.  A big boy, at 16.2hh, he was a show hunter previously, and it shows in his simple jump, and auto lead changes!  He is used mostly for the older kids and adults, as his size can be intimidating for the little ones, even though he's a good boy!

 Rio

Rio is a Morgan/QH gelding in his late teens.  The perfect teacher--quiet for the beginners, but will still jump a course and do lead changes with the intermediate riders. We've only just added Rio to the barn, and are hoping he'll be around for years to come!

In Memory
Rose

A very versatile TB mare, Rose was 20 yrs old, and used for beginner/intermediate lessons. Safe enough for our young beginners, but still had lots left in her for the better riders. We were very lucky to find this girl. Rose will always be remembered around the barn as the sweetest little mare. We will miss her greatly.
