"De Novo" loosely translated means "starting fresh" or " a new beginning". This is the attitude or frame of mind that is applied to all my clients, whether they are horses in training or students.

The "De Novo" idea applies to students and horses just beginning their riding career, or ones who are fine-tuning their skills.I have many years of varied experience with horses, from backyard pleasure horses to A circuit hunters. This diverse background has given way to a very common sense approach to horses and riding.

I continue to work closely with many top professionals to provide the best program for my students and horses. It is this dedication to knowledge that has led me to work with well-known trainers such as Brent and Laura Balisky, John Turner, Judy Wise, and Sarah Davies.

It was while working with Sarah that I achieved my Equine Canada Level 1 certification in 2003, and I am now aiming for my level 2 certification.
